Frequently Asked Questions

I can't remember what my password is.

 

Passwords are stored in a one-way encrypted form. If you've changed it from the original, we don't know what your password is and we have no way of finding it out. The best we can do is set a new password and tell you what we set it to.

To fix this problem:

Click on Manage my account at the left.

This will take you to the What About Me server (WAM), log in there using your 8-digit NUid number and 4-digit NRoll pin number.

Once logged into WAM, click on Addresses under My Records.

Click on the Click Here button under Big Red E-mail Account.

If you don't have a BIGRED login id you'll go to a page creating one. If do have a BIGRED login id you'll go to the BIGRED e-mail account maintenance page. Once there your BIGRED login id will be displayed and you will be able to:

  • Reset Password - Reset your password to your 8-digit NUid (on your Ncard).
After logging into webmail with your newly reset password, you should change the password to something less easy to guess and easy to remember using the Change Password item on the menu on the left.
